On Friday, 3 November 2006 William E. Reifsnyder left this life to rejoin his beloved wife Marylou. Bill’s generous and wise nature was schooled by the depression of the 30’s and World War II. He walked in many worlds, finding friends in all. He fought forest fires in Montana, served in the Pacific as a weatherman, and worked at the Nevada Test Site. He enjoyed a long career at the Yale School of Forestry. Bill loved nature, his home in Lama, and traveling the world. Most important to him were his friends, neighbors, colleagues, and family. Thank you Bill, for leaving our lives better than you found them.
